Amaravathi: AP government declares Sankranti festival gift to ration dealers in the state. Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao speaking to media said that the TDP government has decided to increase the distribution commission of the dealers from 75 Pisa to 1 Rupee. With this commission raise, 29,000 ration dealers will be benefited. He recalled, in last year the commission on Chandranna Kanuka scheme was increased from Rs 5 to Rs 10. For the ration card holders government is providing 1kg rice for Rs 1, Minister said.
Rao said that the One rupee is very much sufficient as dealers commision, with this every month government is contributing Rs 2,000 to the ration dealer.
