Srikakulam :Nagavali flows full from midnight,now balenced.As heavy rains in kalahandi and rayagada districts the situation took place.

Almost 35 lakh cusecs of water flooded. 98,403 cusecs of water from the project were released from the project through all the gates,It effects the Nagavali river in Srikakulam district.
With the advent of water from the middle of the night ... people in the basin were panicked.

Srikakulam Collector Dhananjay Reddy alerted the Tahisildars and officials
Water reached the fields in the lowlands of the Nagavali river on the Veeraghatam, Vangara, Palakonda, Regaidi, Bourja, Santakaviti, Amadalavalasa,ponduru, Echherla and Srikakulam mandals.
