Ind vs WI: Police arrested four cricket bookies in Kadapa

The police arrested four cricket bookies and seized Rs 8.55 lakh in cash, 2.5 kg ganja, a Bolero SUV, 10 mobile phones, a TV and a laptop from them in Rajampet on Sunday.DSP G Nageswar Reddy said that acting on a tip-off that cricket betting was going on during India Vs West Indies ODI match, police teams led by Mannuru and Pedlimarri SIs conducted raids at Indiramma Colony in Mannuru police station limits on Sunday.
The police arrested bookies Sk Imran, Kandula Kumar, Mulla Mainuddin and Sk Mehaboob Basha. All the arrested belonged to Proddatur and would be produced before the court.
