Andhra Pradesh's state BJP leader and state Election Committee convener Somu Veerraju asked CM N Chandrababu Naidu to focus on the issues related to the state at least during the remaining period of his tenure.Addressing media here on Thursday,he said that the TDP national president was more worried about the formation of the government in Karnataka than looking after the state affairs.

Questioning Naidu’s advice to invite Congress and JD(S) combine to form the new government in Karnataka, Veerraju asked whether Naidu, who had come to power toppling the government of his father-in-law and former CM NTR, has any moral right to make such demands.Terming the Naidu’s demand in case of Karnataka reflects the four years of his Machiavellian track record in politics, he said, taking the support of Congress he had installed H D Deve Gowda as PM when he was the convener of the National Front. Later, again joining hands with the same Congress he toppled Gowda to install Inder Kumar Gujral.

“Similarly, Naidu had come into TDP from Congress, after losing deposit in election. NTR who was dead against to the Congress kind of politics had sympathetically allowed Naidu to join the TDP. But, in return, he had backstabbed his own father-in-law in accordance with his Congress values,” he pointed out.

Dismissing AP Chief Minister’s claim that Telugu people in about 64 Assembly constituencies in Karnataka had voted against BJP, Veerraju said there were about 50,000 Telugu voters in Padmanabhanagar. But, the BJP had won with a majority of 30,000 votes in the recent elections.

Similar was the situation in Gangawathi, Sirikuppa, Kanakagiri, Yelahanka and other places which proves the blatant lies of the TDP chief, he said.
